Mother and daughter allegedly fell into a well on Wednesday
Nov. 11 and drowned.
They were identified as Uche Nweze and Ukamaka from Ijo-ozalla
in Igboetiti local Government Area of Enugu state.
According to source a statement by Enugu State Police
Command, the corpses were recovered and deposited at Zim Uzo Hospital Mortuary
Igbo etiti for post mortem examination. Meanwhile, investigation has since been
launched to find out the circumstances surrounding their death.
Already, four suspects are helping the police in their
investigations.
The woman was backing her child when she fell inside the
well.
