A MAN AND HIS FATE
By Raymond Chizoba
A soldier in his armor, a musician with his music,
An actor with his script and a writer with his pen.
A thousand directions yet only a single decision
What have I got to loss or gain if I go West and not East
How is it that I am here but desperately wish to be there,
The irony of life, I can be a better You only if I try.
Right, I am not even certain if I am a better me.
All men have a time of sorrow and a path to follow.
Irrespective of the path, there is no redemption
one so free of troubles and void of worries
It is just a matter of where and when
but mostly about the man himself.
Yes, the Man, that Man that decides his own path
His path, his fate, his life.
