In January, the PMI fell to a four-month low – Stanbic IBTC

 The Stanbic IBTC Purchasing Power Index, or PMI, fell to 53.7 percent in January 2022, down from 56.4 percent in December 2021, a four-month low.

This was linked to continuing cost pressures in January, while purchase price inflation moderated significantly from December's previous high.
