A Saudi real estate tycoon has secured a spot to witness the showdown between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi after paying a staggering $2.6 million in an auction, as per an official statement.
The match is scheduled to take place on January 19 in Riyadh and will see Lionel Messi's Paris Saint-Germain team play against a selection of players from Cristiano Ronaldo's new club Al Nassr and their Saudi rivals Al Hilal.
This will be the first time Ronaldo will play football in Saudi Arabia since signing a contract with Al Nassr, which is valued at over 200 million euros ($214m) and runs until 2025, according to sources close to the club.
