Yesterday, the Federal Government assured that the general elections scheduled for next month will take place as planned.
Minister of Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Mohammed gave this assurance at a meeting in Abuja. This came after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) expressed concerns that the 2023 elections could be postponed or cancelled due to the increasing security issues related to the polls.
