NO JUDGEMENT
By Chizoba Raymond
Have you ever known the taste of sweat?
That salty watery taste of stress
Not desired, but inevitable if one must excel.
I have tasted mine, it’s a taste I repel
Have you ever been beaten by the rain?
That feeling of despair felt as if beaten with a cane.
Oh, you didn’t know? Even the precious rain can cause pain
One felt deeply by the unfortunate ones absent shelter.
Now, have you ever tasted your sweat under the rain?
What a feeling I wonder? Really not much to gain.
One no man in his right senses would desire.
I have tasted my sweat under the rain and I know the pain.
How do you differentiate the sweat from the rain under the rain?
Until you do, do not ever judge me.
