It all starts as a decision.
It became a decision that keeps evolving in your mind continually.
The mind never fails to portray what keeps repeating in it as an action that turns to be a habit.
But it was going truly well, I was enjoying the lift and in charge. It came to a point where the lift caught me and lose control, how it happened and how I got to where I am; it’s still a mirage to me.
All big things came from a small beginning. The seed of every addiction is a single and bitsy habit. But as the habit is repeated addiction sprouts and grows stronger. When a habit becomes automatic it's nominated as an addiction. The addiction started like magical pets, fund monsters. They did extraordinary tricks, showed you things you hadn’t seen, and were enjoyable. But came, through some gradational dire alchemy, to make opinions for you. Ultimately, they were making your most vital life opinions. And they were less intelligent than goldfish.
People with addiction use substances or engage in a habit that becomes obsessive, compelling, and constantly continues despite dangerous consequences. Utmost addicts engaged in one exertion or the other voluntarily but addiction can take over and reduce self-control.
The word addiction is deduced from a Latin term “for enslaved by or bond to ” which exerts a long and important influence on the brain that manifests in three distinct ways, viz; craving for substance or exertion, loss of self - control over on self and continual involvement with it despite adverse consequences.
Addiction isn't just that thing that controls you, it's an incapability to stop using substances or engaging in a habit even though it's causing cerebral and physical detriment. It's a personality that has been fed, fixed, and nurtured over the times till it becomes matured and possessive over the conscious act of an individual. When you can stop, you don’t want to. And when you want to stop, you can’t.
People get addicted to substances like alcohol, marijuana, and cigarette, and brain changes that result from medicine addiction can make the substance to be as necessary as food and water for the person that uses it. With continued use, the brain and the body become dependent on the presence of an addicting substance which they find it uneasy to quit. Pleasurable habits can become problematic when they take over your life. Example: Sex, pornography, eating, etc.
Amongst all, no one uses addicting substances or engages in addicting habits intending to get addicted but it's a personality that possesses beyond self - will and controlling capability.
The root of utmost addiction is geared towards little happiness, or out of bitterness, or guilt. Non–stop toxic self - talk constantly powers the impulse to get into addiction. I thought addiction as a way to escape self -loathing without knowing its obsessive, out of control – feel – good – now – pay – for – it – later habit.
You're free to make the decision you want but you aren't free from the consequences of the decision. Some people create their storms and also get upset and unhappy when it rains.
The consequences of addiction are completely ineluctable and surely affect if not all of our life trials.
Health Consequences. It includes adverse health effects which might lead to severe sickness, disfigurement, or death.
Lack of Self Control. In addendum, people lose control over their compulsion to an addict. They addict even though they know it’s harming them.
Spiritual Implication. This has to do with your relationship with God which is now been broken and it has exposed such person to other dealings of the devil. I never knew that at some points in my life when I was floundering with fiscal problems and advance, it was traced down as a result of addiction which invokes spirits of negativity into your life without your knowledge.
Social Problems. Engaging in substances (drugs) can beget you to fall behind on important tasks at work. It's no way a surprise to hear the cases of under aged rape, yes; it's out of addiction. Utmost people who engaged in such never wished to but it has caused a social problem to them and deprioritized connections.
We should seek not to be learned or enslaved by anything. Addictions and some habits are so explosively established in our lives that they feel like invincible walls. Finding freedom from addiction isn't easy. Still, it can be done, it requires a structured strategy, persistence, and God’s help.
Be determined to change. Admit that you have an issue and you're addicted. Be honest and you must be certain that you want to change.
Open up to a matured helpful person or a therapist. Utmost addicted people profit greatly from a strong healthy support network to help them break the power of addiction in their life. Don’t try to do it alone.
Distance yourself from the addicting exertion. The road to recovery starts with total abstinence. Don’t in some cases try the exertion or take the substance. It only awakens the craving and makes relapse ineludible like an allergy, you need to avoid the vexation.
Anticipate God to help you. Apply God’s power in your life. We can come bravely to God knowing that he promises his help. Rely on His resources, not just your own. He'll help you through the fear, guilt, and shame.
Freedom is a battle, just keep fighting. Sluggishly the battles will get easier.
Say no to addiction, nevwqqq1er think of trying it and every form of addiction is bad no matter whether it's an addictive habit or substance.
You're advised not to get into it, but will never be advised about the consequences and you'll face it all by yourself.
No one is vulnerable to addiction; it afflicts and affects people of all ages, races, classes, religions, and professions.
