Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has announced that Tuesday, January 24th will be a public holiday for the collection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in the state.
The holiday, according to a statement from the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, will allow eligible voters to collect their PVCs at Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) designated centers in their local government areas.
The statement emphasized the importance of the upcoming elections and the need to address the low rate of PVC collection in the Southwest region.
